About the Project

MG VR Experience is a Unity-built empathy simulation for Meta Quest 3 that puts users inside three everyday scenarios — an Apartment morning routine, an Outdoor Park walk, and a Driving trip — while simulating three real symptom categories of Myasthenia Gravis: Vision impairment (blurred focus, ptosis, double vision), Balance instability (joystick-corrected sway), and progressive Muscle Fatigue, managed through a guided Stop & Breathe recovery ritual. Rather than scoring performance for its own sake, every session ends in a reflection screen that translates mechanical mistakes into plain-language real-world parallels — connecting a missed balance correction or an ignored fatigue prompt to what that moment actually costs someone living with MG. Session data is logged for engagement analytics only, with no personal health data collected. Built for empathy training and awareness use, not competition: there are no leaderboards, timers, or scores to chase.
